From time to time, a print produced in the studio falls short of perfection. Its color might be off or a smudge appears where it shouldn’t. These pieces are set aside in the Misprint Box. Over the years, this quiet archive of imperfections has grown, awaiting the moment to be transformed into something new.

The “Mash-Ups” Collection emerges from this process of reinvention. Each work is individually laid out using studio misprints, rough sketches, vintage magazines, fruit crate or beer labels and other ephemera gathered over time. Through careful composition and layering, these elements are re-imagined into collage based works on card stock or wood panel. Every artwork is signed and dated, carrying its own distinct character and history.
